Our New Neighbor!!!

Here is Scott. He "moved" into our apartment complex a couple weeks ago. Tracy and I encountered him various times down by the pool. He was always grillin and drinkin beers. He seemed like a cool and nice guy who was a recruiter for the Marines. He would always offer us beer and good eatin'. We found out a couple days ago Scott wasn't such a nice guy, nor was his name Scott. It was Kevin Miracle. And Kevin was a con artist/car robber/ house robber/ cocaine user!!! He had broken into a vacant apartment across the street from house scoping out houses to rob. He was arrested two days ago after an apartment was broken into, they found his stolen car outside. And found him passed out in the vacant apartment after a little coke binge, surrounded by tools for breaking locks. We live in one of the safest areas in Dallas which makes this crazy!! Just wanted to share this will everyone, don't ever think your safe just because you live in a good neighborhood, and don't trust anybody!!! Scott, you will be missed.

Austin Trip 2009!!

This past weekend we went to Austin, TX for our 2 year anniversary. It was really fun. Austin is a very strange place. Kind of like Santa Barbara. We went to the Texas Capitol building, an 80's house party, and to the bars on 6th street. Enjoy the pics!!

CANEY CREEK ENDURO

Last weekend Tracy, my friend Brian, his son, and I went down to the Houston National Forest for the Caney Creek Enduro race. This was my first race and I had no idea what I was getting myself into. It was a 55 mile race through intense forest full of obstacles. Tracy was the team pit girl and did a great job helping out!!

4 advils, two beers, and one trophy later I was feeling pretty good about the race! :)

MY WORKBENCH

This here is my workbench. I made it out of free wood that I found. I'm pretty proud of it. I don't know what I'm going to use it for but at least I have a workbench for my garage. F'n A.

OFFICIALLY TEXANS

Here is our homestead. Its reaaaal nice. We have a couch now too.

We got our new Texas plates. They are way cooler than Californias. I like mine because it says Texas Truck. It really accents the mud all over my truck too.

HURRICANE IKE

I know a lot of you were worried about Tracy and I during the Hurricane of Ike. This is us weathering the storm. We barely made it. Tracy got sucked up into a tornado but I saved her. If it wasn't for our ponchos we probably would have died.

Central Texas Camping Trip!!!!

This last weekend Tracy and I went camping with a christian dirt bike club out of central Texas. I would like to just say it was awesome. We drove 3 hours south to camp and ride at a private 2000 acre off-road park. We met some really cool people and got to ride in some crazy terrain.

LIVING THE DREAM

This is our neighborhood. Most people in California commute in prius' and other various hybrid vehicles to conserve gas. Here in Texas, people just ride their bulls to work. I am planning on trading my truck in for one next year.

My first BLOG

This is my first blog. I dont know what I'm doing and don't know if anyones going to ever read this. This is a picture of Tracy and I because we are by the ocean, we don't live by the ocean anymore and we miss it. Not as much as we miss our family and friends though. We like it out here though.
